Meet amanda
strategist at heart, storyteller by nature.
I’m a freelance copywriter and marketing strategist with over 20 years of experience helping brands tell clearer stories and connect with the communities that sustain them. I launched my consulting practice in 2013 and have since partnered with companies across sports and lifestyle, natural homecare, food + beverage, energy + environment, and technology, including TikTok, Timberland, Seventh Generation, Cabot Creamery, and more.
Before going independent, I spent a decade working in-house at Burton Snowboards, where I held several marketing roles including Global Social Media Manager and Senior Content Manager. During that time, I helped launch Burton’s social media presence from the ground up (yep, a long time ago), shape the brand’s content strategy, and expand its storytelling beyond snowboarding to reach lifestyle audiences.
My work spans copywriting, content development, digital marketing, social media, and brand strategy. I’m especially drawn to consumer-facing work—whether through campaigns, events, or real-world interactions that bring brands and people together. From athletes and creatives to everyday humans, my work is rooted in connection.
Outside of brand work, I’m also a yoga teacher, writer, and photographer exploring the connection between movement, reflection, and everyday life. Through my writing and teaching, I often explore themes of authenticity, resilience, and the human experiences that shape how we grow. My writing has also appeared in publications including The Huffington Post and The Compassionate Friends.
Whether through brand work, storytelling, or yoga, I’m drawn to work that expands reach and creates spaces where people feel seen, supported, and welcomed.
